It’s in styling, you see. Each post needs enough text for the teaser area that’ll show to entice the reader into the extended post. That area isn’t formatted yet without some CSS magic. It’s just text.
I come from an age where I had to build my own RSS feed. Blogspot didn’t carry them in the beginning.
